You took the ferry. The crossing of the river to La Bouille is a charming moment that makes you want to reread Victor Hugo. This beautiful walk on the banks of the Seine has made you peckish. The evening is mild, so you sit on the terrace with a glass of Poiré. You look at the menu, you hesitate! Which formula to choose ?
The menus vary according to the appetite: starter / main course; main course / dessert; or all three.
The menu is enticing. The fish arrives direct from Dieppe, the duck is reared at Epaignes and the apples come from Rick Van Houtte's village.
Everything is homemade according to recipes created by Jean-Christophe and his brigade. Seasonal vegetables take pride of place. As for the desserts ... Why not try the caramel and cider panna cotta? So what, it will be a starter, a main course and a dessert, it is all too tempting
Well, and if we had lunch together at noon, the Corne d’Abondance is only a few minutes away from the exit of the A13 motorway. The restaurant proposes a nice formula for lunch. The daily blackboard, home-inspired market cooking using grandmother’s delicious recipes. And you can eat only one dish if you're not hungry. Though! It would astonish me that you stop before a dessert! The salesmen are constantly refilling the address for their business stops so glad to find themselves somewhere a bit like home.
Whether for a romantic dinner, a business lunch or a night out with friends, the Corne welcomes you on its covered terrace on sunny days or in one of its two rooms with a capacity of 20 and 30 people. In winter, do not hesitate to ask for a table near the fireplace. Romantic ambience assured.
On the last Friday of every month, the Corne d’Abondance proposes a jazz evening, the walls resound with Soul, Bop, blues, New Orleans ... Jean-Christophe invites his musician friends for a few tunes. Trios, quartet ... it swings in Bourgtheroulde! Remember to book your table.
